The Strickland Project

The Strickland Project was built in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina and was featured in the 2026 Winston-Salem Parade of Homes. Tucked away in a private setting, this 2,400-square-foot custom home offers effortless single-level living with 4,778 square feet under roof and was designed in collaboration with Sal Interlandi of Interlandi & Associates. Featuring 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, the home showcases upgraded design features throughout the interior while boasting an impressive outdoor living space on the exterior.

The exterior combines crisp white DiamondKote board-and-batten siding with brick accents, creating a classic yet contemporary curb appeal. Inside, soaring 16-foot vaulted ceilings with tongue-and-groove accents span the great room and kitchen, where a striking double-sided fireplace serves as the focal point. The kitchen features custom cabinetry, Z-LINE appliances, a butler’s pantry and custom designed Pella windows that flood the space with natural light while framing views of a backyard oasis.

The primary suite is designed as a true retreat, complete with a spacious 7-foot tile shower, custom designed vanity, a hidden room tucked just off the bedroom, and the convenience of a dedicated laundry room within the primary closet. Two guest suites each include private en-suite bathrooms, while a second laundry room and a dog wash station in the mudroom add everyday functionality. 

Belgard paver walkways and coordinating retaining walls & garden walls manage the property’s changing elevations while adding structure and architectural character.
